WELCOME TO PFLAG IN THE UK
FREE SUPPORT FOR PARENTS, FRIENDS & FAMILY OF LESBIANS AND GAY PEOPLE IN THE UK
WHAT IS "PFLAG" AND WHAT DO WE DO?
"PFLAG" stands for Parents, Friends (& family) of Lesbians And Gays. We provide free information and support for parents, friends & family of lesbian and gay people in the UK.
As acceptance of gay people slowly increases, more and more people are coming out to their parents, friends and family. There's almost no one who doesn't know and love someone is gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered, and many people will eventually have the experience of someone they love coming out.
We have free resources for parents of gay children, information for friends and family of gay and lesbian people, as well as useful links and general support (see full menu on the right for our support topics).
|IF YOU LIVE IN SCOTTISH BORDERS, WE NEED YOUR HELP...|
|On behalf of Axiom Consultancy (a
social research company) who are working with NHS
Borders, we are currently looking to talk to people
who live in the Scottish Borders.
So ... If you are a gay or bisexual man, aged 18 - 40, living in the Scottish Borders and you'd be willing to tell us, confidentially, what you think about local health and support services in the area, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org typing 'GBM' in the Subject. You'll also receive a reward for your time.
Your views will be anonymous and are vitally important to our client, NHS Borders, helping them to provide appropriate support services for you.
Are you lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender aged 16 to 65 and living in the Scottish Borders?
Would you be willing to tell us, confidentially, what it's like living in the Borders and whether you think there is any stigma being LGBT there?
If yes, we'd love to hear from you (we'll also give you a reward for your time)!!
Your views will be completely confidential and are vitally important to our client, NHS Borders, to help them understand how best to support you (and other members of the LGBT community) in the future.
Interested?, then contact email@example.com typing 'LGBT' in the Subject.
We are an independent organisation providing free support, advice and resources for parents, friends and family of lesbian and gay people in the UK. We have no association with the American PFLAG organisation in any way. We do not offer one to one support.
